Virus removal, sofware and setup problems ...   Straightforward problems like these can be completed without any need to replace hardware and are normally fixed on site and cost around £40.00 + VAT     Fixed price laptop hardware repairs ...   Most laptop hardware faults repaired for a standard fixed price ... this is how it works.   Most hardware repairs can be carried out for a fixed fee of £115.00 + VAT and this includes collection and return to you.   What is included for the £115.00?    Collection and delivery, inspection and most types of repairs.  Typically some of the repairs that are done within the £115 include replacement keyboards (including spillages), replacement optical drives, motherboard faults and component repairs, power supplies and USB port replacements.   There are some repairs of course that require the replacement of very expensive parts, such as mainboards and display screens, for which we need to quote separately to our fixed price repairs.   What if the screen is cracked?   Well it depends a lot on the make and model of laptop, but about 80% of these repairs can be carried out for a total cost of around £165.00 +VAT, which includes collection and return   We will tell if your laptop can't be repaired for our fixed price, or indeed if we think it's beyond economical repair. If you decide not to have the repair done there's a fixed price of £40.00 +VAT (£47.00) which covers collection, our workshop time finding the problem and returning the laptop to you. Of course you only pay this when you choose not to have the laptop repaired.
